It is with great pride that we announce LithoTel’s ColorLinx™ software is also FULLY compatible with Heidelberg CP2000 equipped sheetfed presses.

Now, not only can you enjoy the benefits of JDF ink key presetting, you may also use the ColorLinx product to maintain closed loop color control of your CP2000 equipped press in full production mode.

This is made possible through a new hardware product called Direct Connect©. This product allows scanner color correction information to be taken from ColorLinx, and transfers it into the CP2000 console. The Heidelberg native software is used to transfer the ink keys in a conventional manner with the press in operation.

Introducing FlexPro

It is with great pleasure and fanfare that LithoTel Software Design officially announces the release of two new products to their already phenomenal lineup of print control solutions.

The first product is FlexPro. This software is sold as a companion software to our flagship ColorPro© system. The purpose of FlexPro is to provide an operator friendly press side data input interface.

All of the Job pertinent Data is input into ColorPro by the pre press department prior to printing. This information is available by LAN connection to the FlexPro software in the press room. The operator is only required to “open the proper job docket” and start scanning control elements (color bar) into the system. FlexPro currently uses the Techkon RS 800 hand held scanners, but will soon offer direct online data collection.

FlexPro has large intuitive screens that guide the press crews in making proper control adjustments at a glance. All data is archived over the LAN connection into the ColorPro system, where it can be used by prepress to make informed decisions on refining plate and proofing profiles.

 

DynaLinx

The second product is DynaLinx™. This software solution is an optional add on to the already popular ColorLinx™ suite of software.

DynaLinx, as the name suggests is a “dynamic link” between the pressman and the print buying customer. This link allows the customer to “see” a color correct final soft proof image simultaneously displayed on a single monitor with a color managed “virtual” soft press sheet.

The two images can be remotely analyzed by the customer for % coverage; L ab values; Delta E differences. They can be enlarged for a more discerning visual analysis or viewed as a series of progressive proofs.

Everything that was lost when digital proofing took over, has been brought back in digital form.
