Press Side Color Data Collection Made EasyLithoTel is pleased to introduce FlexPro, the easy to use press side oriented addition to our color auditing software, ColorPro. Originally designed with flexo packaging print in mind, FlexPro is more than flexible enough to be used in any press room.
A press side FlexPro installation shares a common database with ColorPro. Jobs prepared initially in ColorPro are easily selected in FlexPro. In seconds, the color targets on the printed sheet are scanned with an RS 800 spectrophotometer, and color data saved down to the central database so they can be more thoroughly analyzed with ColorPro after the press run.
During the press run, FlexPro displays the color readings as easy to interpret graphs. Density, dot gain, CIE LabCH and Delta E information provides a straight forward snapshot of a single scanned sheet, as well as trend charts over the entire course of the job, allowing the operator to quickly evaluate the printed color.
