ColorPro 7.1 is the latest version of LithoTel's premier user friendly pre-press and pressroom color auditing software. It retrieves statistical information from plates, proofs and press sheets using most hand-held reflection densitometers and spectrophotometers. ColorPro also takes advantage of Techkon’s RS 400 Scanning Densitometer and RS800 Scanning Spectrophotometers.

Readings from color bars are intuitively displayed as graphs showing ink density, density difference between sheets, dot gain, hue error, greyness values, achievable color space and more. Using this information, ColorPro can define the reproducible CMYK color space for proofs and presses. Invaluable for fingerprinting your process, it can also be used to trouble-shoot discrepancies within your prepress and printing facility. If this wasn’t enough, ColorPro is also designed to take full advantage of modern spectrophotometers, with its ability for reporting L ab and Delta E values, and generating a range of spectral graphics.

ColorPro has a Sequel Server database, with full Sort and Query capabilities. The files can be sorted, averaged or used to generate a complete SPC report for plotting trends and producing Q.C. reports. These reports contain control charts for density, midtone dot gain, trapping, hue error, grayness and print contrast.

ColorPro also contains an analytical engine called LithoTelligence. It’s a print analysis wizard that can critique a print job and provide direction for fine tuning your color processes.
